For what it's worth, Sheridan is neither a "space cowboy" nor a "gung ho type." This description has nothing to do with the character, and I'm not quite sure where you got this. Certainly I never said or implied it.
Captain John Sheridan is a war hero, of sorts; he squeaked out the only real victory of the Earth/Minbari War. (Which means the Minbari don't generally like him a lot.) He did what he did because that's his job. He's a professional soldier. For the last two years, he's been commanding the Agamemmnon, a high-visibility Earthforce starship on deep patrol. As such, he has had to learn to work with a number of different races and species.
Points of Departure
Sheridan: "It was an early earth president, Abraham Lincoln, who best described our situation: The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate for the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise to the occasion. We can not escape history. We will be remembered, in spite of ourselves. The fiery trial through which we pass will light us down in honor or dishonor, to the last generation. We shall nobly save, or meanly lose our last best hope."

Flower Arranging study with fresh cut Iris, Tiger Lily, and Lily of the Valley [flowering in May - bring tidings of warmer weather and symbolize the return of happiness. They emblems of humility and chastity because of their pure white blooms and bowed heads.] Cutting, hanging and drying flowers, shrubs and other plants such as lavender. Cut flowers before they are fully open, tie with ribbon, and then hang them upside-down in bunches.
Note: The Pleiades are mentioned in Job, The Book of Enoch and many other inspired writings throughout history. The constellation Taurus, the Bull, contains over 400 stars, among which there are said to be more bright stars than in any other constellation, and chief among which are the 7 Pleiades and their sisters the 5 Hyades. And since in every age this constellation has been a favourite theme for myth and allegory, expect this theme will interest you as well.
One myth is of the 12 sisters seeing their brother Hyas killed by a snake while hunting in Lybia. They lamented his death so passionately that Zeus placed them in the sky as part of the constellation of Taurus. The Hyades are called 'the rainy ones' and the greatest importance is attached to this group when it rises at the same time as the Sun, during May, when the rainy season begins - thus they represented the fertilizing principle of moisture. They symbolize the feminine or astral aspect of the 5 senses, which lament that their brother [the physical senses] is so deadened by the snake of matter and the perversion of the creative powers, that they are cut off from him and must remain in the higher realms; that he can no longer commune with them except as he reaches up into the heaven world. They continually exert, however, the gentle moisture of their world and helps man and woman to find the 7 spiritual senses represented by the Pleiades. These senses are counterparts to sight, sound, touch, taste, smell, ESP and radar. This is of course the more mystical side of Taurus.
Venus, the Art of Attraction
Signs: Taurus, the Winged Bull and Libra, the Scales
There are some face value insights about Venus, the Social Urge as the magnetic magic of your well structured relationships. Venus is the turning point that warms the soul, reinforces the spirit, and adds power to personal delivery style.
Venus in your star chart is a source of information about how you size up negotiating skills - your own and those of your partners. She can turn the tide at the bargaining table by providing a wide range of solutions. She exudes personal confidence in mediation, tries to find a win-win solution in a dispute, and unravels complex obstructions to bring the confirmation of financial stability.
Positive Venus attracts people, opportunities [luck], and material objects into your life, helps to establish maintenance codes for your acquisitions, and bestows a sense of timing when it is time to recycle. Venus is most visible to others through selection of a supportive pallate, wardrobe, tone and demeanor of social relationship styles, and environmental accessories. Your natural sense of order, placement, love of nature, and negotiating preference is shaped by an unafflicted Venus. The placement of your Venus may effect you choice of legal counsel and so the ability to out-maneuver an opponent in court.
Generally, Venus is related to the following: thinking about those to whom you are attracted and those attracted to you, about companionship, love, and affection in its various manifestations. Any style of attraction that draws fortune or misfortune as friendship and affection are under the general heading of Venus. Venus governs treaties of War and Peace, ruling open enemies and friendships. The 'presence' you project - your charismatic personality - and the tint of the lens through which you view life in general, all are influenced by Venus.
The placement of Venus in your star chart [sign, house, and aspects] may map out important clues about any belief you cling to regarding your ideal of beauty, harmony, and happiness. Role models are probably people who have their Venus in the same sign as you, or their Venus is strongly influenced by the sign or position of Venus in your chart. Those you admire may have their Sun, Moon, Ascendant or Midheaven in the same sign as your Venus at birth. If you were born with Venus in Aries, those who impress you probably have their Sun, Moon, Ascendant, or Midheaven in the sign Aries.
If your Venus enters a new sign over the course of time, you may find you have praise for new models who inspire you according to the change in your archetypes. Your progressed, updated Venus may prompt you to pin an orchid on an entirely new romantic interest, or someone with a new accent colour added to your traditional canvass.
For example, if you were born with radix [birth chart] Venus in Pisces, and you have a progressed Venus in Aries, your idea of beautiful women will probably include a mix of characteristics of both signs - a fire-water combination. So your style of negotiation would be augmented and described as a combination of magnetic Pisces and electric Aries.
Tips: Generally, the earth and water signs are slower moving and absorptive. They are considered magnetic and negotiating. The fire and air signs are quick and initiating. They are considered electric, fast paced, and risk takers. In the stock market, the Bear is associated with earth and water signs. The Bull is favoured by fire and air signs.

The traditional translation of Jupiter in Pisces will emphasize strong ideals, interest in all philanthropic affairs, an increase in power to the astrosome. The emotions and imagination are enhanced, adding to the intuition, spiritual perception, and psychic impressions. People who are born with Jupiter in the sign of global consciousness are usually aware of subtle energy, indications, and details that may escape others. The native receives benefit from pursual of investigation along lines of occult and psychical research in general and will experience some remarkable phenomena and prophetic dreams or visions.
Those with this Jupiterian 'garment' are frequently studious, hospitable, quiet, unassuming, sociable, kind, charitable, fond of animals, sympathetic, and always ready to help the sick and unfortunate. They often seem to embody the message contained in The Sermon on the Mount and teachings of Buddha.
Referring to his teaching, Buddha said, "As the great ocean, ye disciples, is penetrated by only one taste, the taste of salt, even so, disciples, this Doctrine and this Order are penetrated by only one taste, the taste of salvation."
There may be a profound early life experience in relation to the dream vehicle and/or the teacher in the dream paradigm. A philosophic renewal will occur when Jupiter completes his sojourn of all twelve signs of the zodiac [approximately every 12 years] - this renewal takes place according to the ancient 'rebirth' sequence as mentioned in
a note about Ian Fleming posted here.
Bruce Boxleitner is a cheeseburger fan! When Bon Appetit asked what his dream meal would be, Bruce answered, "It would start with a cheeseburger. Then I'd want a Tex-Mex feast, with fajitas, taquitos, rancheros, guacamole, chips and salsa, Coronas, Margueritas, and shots of Sauza Conmemorativo tequila. That should just about do it."

Wild West Mystery -
Mystery Woman season two
Wild West TV star Clint Taylor (Bruce Boxleitner) is booked by Samantha (Kellie Martin) as the main attraction for the annual holiday rodeo, Wild West Days. The event begins with the townfolk at full capacity when the star stages an accident for publicity, his stand-in is shot for real, and Samantha must figure out which cowboy from the cast of his old TV show pulled the trigger.
Back at the ranch: The character Strother Elam, who describes himself as a character actor, is an allusion to two famous Western character actors, Strother Martin (The Wild Bunch, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid) and Jack Elam (Cat Ballou, Support Your Local Gunfigher).
Clint Taylor must be have been born under the Taurus sky or have the sign in one of his angular houses [1, 4, 7, or 10]. He is a textbook case of someone who likes luxury but wants to be practical about it. He can also be stubborn, wearing Samantha and Annie down with his belief that charges against him are irrelevant because no jury is going to convict 'An American Icon.' Then he prevails on Samantha to ask Annie to bring him a cheeseburger while he waits for dinner behind bars. Charming - but sometimes difficult to live with.
