George Lucas is a double Taurus with his Moon in Aquarius, and Mars 25� Moonchild 23' in his Third House of analysis, writing, and short journeys. His Sun 23� Taurus 34' is just inside his First House, conjunct his 17� Taurus Ascendant so verbal and written expression of his thoughts are easy to understand. MARS IN MOONCHILD - MARS IN CANCER
Mars in the sign of the Moon will work in the wider social framework of The Emperor [Trump IV] in support of the entire family, group, and collective. Constant cultivation of our relationship with the macrocosm is simultaneously reflected as part of our participation in the microcosm. We view the world around us through the telescope and microscope with equal curiosity and note the structural similarities in both. Taurus is ruled by Venus; the pleasure principle insists on comfort while en route so detailed organization before a trip will usually include signed, sealed and confirmed arrangements.
With the Moon in Aquarius, the interest in mechanics and science is great, yet musical composition is very important and to a degree might have prompted a foray into sound mastery. The developed or trained voice is considered a talent suited to public speaking. Lucas may have extended his interest into facilitation of clear audio [third house broadcasting, radio, singing, and so on] for the enjoyment of others. Skywalker Sound is a leading sound design firm in film and television. What may have started as a need for better service [necessity is the mother of invention] developed from a hobby [third house] into a company that is now world wide.
The Moon governs nutrition and fuel for the upper and lower furnaces. The family table is a sacred place and one of the most important power sites in the life of Moonchildren. The traditional rituals of family, nation, and spiritual community are very important. Breaking bread with others is a way of welcoming the individual members of a group into the inner circle where all there become part of the collective. Anakin Skywalker invites Qui-Gon Jinn, Padme, and Jar-Jar to his house when a sand storm hits on Tatooine. They share a meal and discuss the circumstances they must negotiate. Anakin volunteers to pilot his pod racer to help raise the money needed for the parts to repair the ship. Shmi realizes her son is the only hope these travelers have and gives Anakin permission to enter the race. This scene echoes the first Star Wars family gathering around the dinner table in IV A New Hope, when Luke joins Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru after his work cleaning up their two new droids. Uncle Owen wants Luke to sacrifice his plans for the good of the moisture farm and stay on another season to help with the harvest [initiation of the 'stall' by a protective internal parent]; Luke reluctantly concedes to wait another year to leave for the academy.
Rituals like those in a Native American kiva are suggested by this place for Mars expression, as are the rites of passage at Stonehenge, Glastonbury Tor, or even a sports arena like the super bowl.
